The Madhubun’s Sea of Stories series of English Readers knits together stories and poems from across the world. There are fables, folk tales, mythological tales, poems and even extracts from well-known stories and novels. Each thread of this pattern tells a story which is unique, much-loved, and thought provoking. The series encourages readers to understand and appreciate literature, and inspires them to read further. The stories also introduce students to many popular characters like Birbal, Tenali Raman,  Nasreddin Hodja and stories from Panchatantra, Hitopadesha and Jataka Tales. The books for Classes 1 to 8 adhere to the suggested language skill areas and themes defined by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
