Another Chance is a story of love and life in all their positive and negative forms. The protagonist is a hauntingly beautiful woman named Ruheen Oberoi. She has been raised by her doting grandfather in Shimla, India.
Ruheen now lives in London with her husband, who is a drug addict. While her husband spends all his time in front of a video game console, Ruheen is caught between the attention of two determined guys, Aditya Sharma and Varun Shetty. Aditya is Ruheen’s ardent lover, while Varun happens to be her ex-lover. Aditya is a successful professional, struggling to balance his work and life, while Varun is a recovering alcoholic searching for the meaning of his life. As intricate as the plot is, a wronged siren lusting after Aditya complicates things even further. To make matters worse, Ruheen is stalked by an obsessive guy who happens to have a powerful minister for a father.
The web of human relationships and emotions gets murkier as the plot progresses and Ruheen’s life seems to be hopelessly entangled with the lives of the other characters. Who finds love and who ends up alone remains to be seen.
Another Chance was published in 2011 by Grey Oak Publishing. It received mainly positive reviews.
