About The Authors Abhijit Chakrabarti is a professor at the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah. Abhijit is the author of eight books on electrical engineering, including Circuit Theory: Analysis and Synthesis, Basic Electrical Engineering, and Power System Dynamics and Simulation. Abhijit’s research interests include electric circuits, power system, and power electronics. He has been honored with the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Award and awarded the Power Medal. As a researcher, Abhijit has published over 80 papers in national and international journals and conferences. S. K. Mandal is an author of several books on electronics, business and management. They include Basic Electronics, Digital Electronics: Principles and Applications, Effective Communication & Public Speaking, Total Quality Management: Principles and Practice, and Fundamentals of Business: Principles & Practice. Sudipta Nath is an assistant professor with Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata under the Dept. of Electrical Engineering.
