RR Barthwal
Dr. R.R. Barthwal obtained his B.Sc. and M.A. degrees from Agra University, and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He joined the faculty I.I.T. Kanpur in 1972. He served the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Institute in various positions and retired from the active service in June, 2001. Currently he is a visiting faculty in the same department.
His major fields of study are Industrial Economics, Economic Development, Econometrics and Environmental Impact Assessment. He has published a number of papers and books in these areas and has guided Ph.D. research work of several students.
