About Marilyn Wolf

Marilyn Wolf is an American academician, writer, computer scientist, the Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar and the Rhesa "Ray" S. Farmer Distinguished Chair of Embedded Computing Systems at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has also written High Performance Embedded Computing.

Dr. Wolf completed her undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral studies at Stanford University. She worked at Princeton University and AT&T Bell Laboratories for a long period before shifting to Georgia Tech. She has also co-founded Verificon Corporation and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi. Dr. Wolf was awarded the ASEE/CSE and HP Frederick E. Terman Award and the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Education Award for her work.
