L. E. Hornberger Is An American Civil Engineer Who Specializes In Plastics. She Earned A B.S. Degree In Mechanical Engineering From Santa Clara University, One Of The First Women To Do So. She Has A Distinguished Career Both Within Academia And In The Industry.

Dr. Terry E. Shoup Is An American Engineer And Prolific Author. He Is The Author Of Over One Hundred Publications. Some Of His Publications Include Automated Determination Of Spur Gear Form Factors And Using The Palm Computer To Augment The Design Of Machine Elements.
