It assumes no previous knowledge of phonetics, and teaches students with both native and non-native mastery of English. It includes the latest developments in the subject, teaching students how sounds work in English and how to pronounce words perfectly. In addition, the book includes two CD-ROMs with practical exercises and recordings for students to learn more from. The book is an indispensable resource for all students of the English language.
