China is developing cyber capacities in pursuit of its economic, political and strategic objectives. The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China differs considerably form its Western counterparts in its approach to cyber and network operations. Phil from Madras University, Major General PK Mallick, VSM (Retd.) was commissioned in the Corps of Signals of Indian Army. The officer has interest in Cyber Warfare, Electronic Warfare, SIGINT, Technology and Strategic Affairs. His last posting before retirement was Senior Directing Staff (Army) at National Defence College, New Delhi
