About the Author

Surender Singh is senior Associate Professor, Shivaji College (University of Delhi), New Delhi. A Ph. D (1985) in Geography from the University of Delhi, Dr. Singh has been teaching Geography to undergraduate and postgraduate students since 1976. He has also published a number of books from leading publishing houses.

Jitender Saroha is currently Joint Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi. A Ph. D in Geography from the University of Delhi, Delhi, Dr. Saroha was earlier teaching at B. R. Ambedkar College (University of Delhi), Delhi as Associate Professor.
