About the Author
Tony Swainston taught for 20 years in comprehensive schools, being a pastoral head, an assistant headteacher and a member of the leadership group in his last school. Following his secondment to the DfES as a regional CPD adviser, he is now an independent consultant with his own company, ECM Connections Ltd. His work includes being a regional adviser for teachers¯ TV and a Project Manager with the Pacific Institute.
