Kalyani Mookherji is an alumna of Jadavpur University, Kolkata where she did her graduation and post-graduation in English. Having specialized in Post-Colonial Literature and Women’s Writing, she aced the National Eligibility Test in 2001 and for a brief while taught university students as a Research Scholar. After a long stint in the digital world as a freelance writer, she has now returned to the real world of writing as an author of books on history and literature. Presently she values her connection to the young budding minds that is one of the major highs of teaching English and Literature to XI and XII students of Army Public School, Wellington, Nilgiris. Being married to an army officer, the author has practically travelled the length and breadth of India. As of now, she is located in the sylvan surroundings of Nilgiris where apart from despite being a busy Mom to an eleven-year old, she finds time for other interests like reading, music and baking.
