Jungle Alone' is a story of a life of adventure, passion and solitude that the author has lived for the better part of his life. A life lived deep in the jungles, on top of the hills, in lush-green valleys, in gullible remote villages, and on the golden sand dunes. Living in tents erected in obscure places, in the midst of forests, he silently bore the 'torments' of solitude, a term that the great poet Wordsworth called 'bliss'. Living in tents alone, he braved scorching heat of the desert, cold freezing breeze from the hills, heavy rain and storms, even lightening. When camping in areas of political strife, the author faced mass-movements, agitations and even bomb blasts. The author narrates his experience with wild animals like tigers, leopards, beers, boars, hyenas, elephants and snakes with respect. Animals reciprocate this respect, if not disturbed. There is a language of silence and peace between them.
