About the Author
Menu Mahrotra is a writer whose works have appeared in national magazines and newspapers. An active campaigner for AIDS awareness, she won a special mention in the Gentleman Public Service Advertising Award, 1993. Lilacs Bloom in My Backyard is her first novel. She currently lives and works in Muscat.
