IAS of Gujarat cadre of 2008 batch. Officer Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh was born in Desari, a village in Vaishali district of Bihar. Dr. Ranjit Kumar completed his graduation from Patna College (Patna University) and IAS. After becoming an officer, L.L.B. (Patna Law College) and Ph.D. (Patna University). Dr. Ranjit Kumar Singh, who has worked on various high posts in the state of Bihar, was working as the Director of the Education Department and Panchayati Raj Department. Before this, he was the Director of District The officer has been a resident of Sitamarhi. He has provided free training to more than 1850 candidates for civil services examinations through an organization named 'Mission 50' in Patna. For his remarkable work done for the society, he has also been honored with many national and international awards including 'Best Leadership Award', 'Mahatma Gandhi Swachh Survekshan Award'.
