In this collection of Tamil essays, Madhan tells readers about various paranormal occurrences around the country and the world, covering the categorization of apparitions. The book takes one through paranormal occurrences such as human auras, psychons, clairvoyance, psychokinesis and precognizance, showing how certain people could affect the world around them in various ways. He shows how some humans claimed to being able to bend spoons or levitate objects by sheer thought. The book also covers ghosts, extraterrestrial appearances and spontaneous human combustion.
Maadapoosi Krishnaswamy Govinda Kumar, better known as Madhan, is a Tamil Cartoonist, writer, journalist and film critic. He works at the Ananda Vikatan magazine, a leading Tamil weekly.
A multi-faceted personality, Madhan has worked as a screenwriter for Anbe Sivam, a 2003 film in which he also had a brief appearance. He has also written Vandhargal Vendrargal and anchors Madhan's Thirai Paarvai in Star Vijay Television.
