Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, Ph.D., is formerly Professor and Dean, faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Science, Institute of Agricultural Science, University of Calcutta, Kolkata. With a four decade agronomic research and three decade teaching experience in different aspects of Agronomy, he has supervised more than 90 postgraduate and 14 Ph.D. theses in Agronomy and published 112 research papers in reputed national and international journals. Professor Bhattacharya has chaired technical sessions of a number of national and international seminars and symposia in Agricultural Science.
