Summary of the Book
Reeling from the events of the previous book, Pia Grazdani takes a break from medical school. She finds a job as an intern at a lavishly funded nanotechnology institute where she is working on some of the most advanced technologies ever known. However her work there is constantly hounded by the knowledge that the institute has secrets which she cannot pry into, secrets which may involve human test subjects. The institute's secrets could either be the solution to humanity's deadliest viruses or it could be greed manifested in the form of nanobots. Either way, Pia has only a short time to unravel the truth behind it before she gets dragged into a nightmare.
