A. In the University of Bombay; and the book is little more than an attempt to furnish students here with the material without which anything like a full study, or commencement of study, of the Rigveda is hardly now practicable. I h0pe it may be accepted as a text-book in other Universities, in India or elsewhere, where Sanskrit is studied.
