About the Author

Paulami Chakraborty, freelance editor and a specialist in the fields of Art, Art History, History, Mythology and Indian Aesthetics, is an alumnus of Mumbai University, and Loreto College, Kolkata. A leading actor in Mumbai's lively Bengali theatre scene, she has learned Kathak from the legendary Sitara Devi, Odissi from Dr Sharmila Biswas and holds a diploma with honours in Rabindra Sangeet from Vishwa Bharati University. She also devotes some of her time to a childrens NGO, CMCA. She lives in Mumbai with her husband and son.
