Seema Sekhri (PhD), Associate Professor, Department of Fabric and Apparel Science, Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi, is a topper of M.Sc. (Home Science) and recipient of the university postgraduate scholarship. A life member of Home Science Association of India, Textile Association of India and Fibre Forum of India, she has a number of papers in reputed national and international research journals to her credit. With 25 years of teaching experience she has completed a UGC sponsored major research project on application of natural dyes in home textiles. A supervisor for 8 doctoral (5 completed, 3 ongoing) and 45 master's dissertations spanning a variety of areas of fabric and apparel science
