Archie is a hugely popular comic series revolving around everyone's favourite carrot-top character, Archie, from the town of Riverdale. The adventures of Archie and his friends Betty Cooper, Reggie Mantle, Veronica Lodge, and Jughead Jones, who first appeared in 1941, remain popular to this day.
The Archies is the famous band started by Archie, Reggie, and Jughead. The fictional band in this comic perform popular contemporary music, especially rock and roll. "Sugar, Sugar" was one of the most prominent songs of the fictional band.
The Archies Greatest Hits chronicles the band's failures and success. Archie is the lead guitarist, Reggie plays the bass guitar, and Jughead plays the drums. Even Veronica and Betty join the band, where Betty plays the tambourine, Veronica takes to the keyboard, and Hot Dog is the mascot.

A script writer and artist, Frank Doyle was one of the leading writers of the Archies comics for over 30 years. He has contributed significantly to more than 10,000 Archie comics.
Doyle has been a part of other popular comics like Crusoe Island, Life on Other Worlds, Flint Baker, Space Rangers, Lash Larue, There Oughta Be A Law, and Robin Malone. He also wrote Life With Archie and She's Josie, Sabrina - the Teenage Witch, and Josie And The Pussycats.
His humour and unique style of writing sets him apart from the other Archie writers. Doyle was the head writer of the Archie comics for many years.
Doyle completed his education from the Pratt Institute. He was also a part of the Fiction House comics.
