Recounting their adventures during the aftermath of the Indian mutiny in 1857, it also explores the disappearance of Nana Sahib, the ruler of Kanpur and one of the mutiny's most famed leaders. About the Author Jules Verne (1828-1905) was an acclaimed French author. His works include Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864) and Around the World in Eighty Days (1873). He is considered one of the pioneers of the genre of science fiction.
