Our minds are basically enlightened and peaceful, but when we hold on to our wants and worries, we start to lose this enlightenment. Eventually, we are left with no peace of mind. Stress and exhaustion become a ruling part of our lives and our lives become an endless battle of suffering. Buddhists call our clinging attitudes "grasping of self". Once we learn how to let go of all our unnecessary worries, we will finally be able to gain control of our minds and use its powers to heal ourselves. This book will provide you with ways to heal yourself through inspiring images, sounds, mindful movements, positive perceptions, soothing feelings, confidence and the realization of openness. These exercises are based on the universal nature and omnipresent power that is envisioned in Mahayana Buddhism. It is quite simple: we can relieve ourselves from all our problems by just being who we really are.
