MAHESH C. JAIN, Ph.D., is Reader in the Department of Physics at the Hindu College of the University of Delhi. He obtained his doctorate in Theoretical Nuclear Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 1971. He has a distinguished academic career spanning more than three-and-a-half decades.
