These happen to be the three main characters in The Marriage Mistake. Carina Conte is the youngest child and everyone in the family is intent on treating her that way. No matter that she now has an MBA degree and has tried her best to prove them wrong. She is an independent woman but is vulnerable at heart and has always liked Max Gray. Max is irrevocably attracted to her but his position in the company and his ties with Michael stop him from acting on his feelings. But things get out of hand one night when the two end up sleeping together. What follows, to the consternation of both of them and their undeniable attraction towards each other is the plot of the book. Probst's descriptions of the Carina as the strong woman who tries hard to not let herself be blown away by her feelings for Max. What makes the book more interesting is the sudden turn of events along which the author takes the reader. The author delves deeper into the past of Max and Carina adding depth to the book. The book has its share of humor, sex, romance and drama to keep the reader engrossed. The Marriage Mistake is the third book in a series of five till date. About Jennifer Probst Jennifer Probst is an American author. Probst holds a degree in business from Mercy College and held several professions before settling down to writing. She wrote her first story when she was 12.
