Brain Acrobatics is a children's activity book intended to help replace screen time, and engage children in activities that help enhance a child's attention, concentration, memory, reasoning abilities, and other cognitive functions. There are two volumes of this book based on the age range. Level 1 is for children aged 5-8 years with beginner-level activities and puzzles. Level 2 is for older children aged 9-12 years with more complex puzzles and activities, although it is recommended that even older children try Level 1 before going on to Level 2 to get oriented to simpler tasks before moving on to more complex tasks. This way, the child will not reject the activities as being too difficult. The paper-pencil activities in the books are enjoyable, interesting, and carefully selected, keeping the child's developmental age in mind. There are nearly 200 activities, spanned over 30 days, with activities scheduled for each day. In addition, the book encourages joint activity between the caregiver and the child so that they spend meaningful time together. The activities are part of the non-screen time to engage children and should be supplemented with other activities such as clay modeling, handicrafts, and other creative activities. This book is colorful and involves activities based on color differentiation. However, there is another book called Brain Gymnastics which is printed in black and white, with alternative activities to reduce production costs and make it more affordable to parents.
