Literature fiction

Winnie Foster runs away from her family. On the run, she comes across a 17 year old boy drinking from a spring. When she tries to drink the water, the boy stops her. His brother and mother come to take Winnie with them and explain why she must never drink the waters of the spring. These are the Tucks, and they have lived for a very long time. Their secret is the water from the spring, which keeps them from aging. Winnie is fascinated by the idea of eternal life, but the Tucks soon show her that staying the same age for a long time is not really that much fun. In fact, they explain that eternal life has only disadvantages. Winnie also discovers that a man in a yellow suit is after the Tucks, and that he is searching for the secret of their youth. He has only one agenda: he wants to sell their secret to the highest bidder, marketing eternal life for anyone who wishes to buy it!
