Benjamin Pratt, his friend Jill and Robert are just about to find out the threat that a little bit of knowledge can be. Keepers of the School: We The Children is the story of Ben and his friends who set out to defend their beloved school from becoming an amusement park with million dollar views. Summary of the Book It may sound like a dream come true for children when they learn that there is an amusement park coming up in the middle of their town. However, it does not make Ben happy as the amusement park is going to be built on the ground of their 200 year old school that will be demolished for the construction. He loves his school and does not like the idea of an amusement park in the middle of his town. There have been too many changes taking place in his life and this was not something that he was going to let happen. He soon learns from the school janitor that the school is said to have 'million dollar views' that has plenty to do with the deal to sell the school property. On learning this, he and his friends start out on a mission to somehow ruin this deal. After all, as the town would want to believe it, the school does not belong to the local government, but to the children who have all the rights to defend it.
