This book concludes with chapters on Buddhism in the Philippines and Singapore and Buddhism in the West.

Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh

Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh did his MA. M Phil; and Ph D in Buddhist Studies from Delhi Univerisity. Presently he is teaching MA and M Phil students at the Department of Buddhist Studies in University of Delhi from where he has obtained all his higher degrees. Along with the teaching assignment, he is also involved in other department activates like assisting the editors of the Departmental journal named Buddhist Studies and due to his hard work and commitment towards this, the department has been able to publish there departmental journal and two more journals are about to be written a book named Animls in Early Buddhism (2006) and co-edited a textbook named A Textbook of the History of Theraveda Buddhism (2007). He has also compiled a book named Researches in Buddhist Studies: A Descriptive Bibliography. He has presented many research articles and the National conference and fue of them have been published in different journals of repute.
