Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya, a Professor at Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, India is a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Calcutta. Dr. Bhattacharya is a Visiting professor of the Department of Statistics, University of California, Davis, USA, since contiguity, reliability engineering etc. Dr. Battacharya has to his credit a significant number of research papers published in national and international journals of repute. He authored a number of books in statistics, probability and statistical inference.

Dr. Soma Roychowdhury

Dr. Soma Roy Chowdhury, a Professor at Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Calcutta, India, is a Ph.D. in Statistics from the university of Calcutta. After graduating from Presidency college, Calcutta, she did her Masters from the University of Calcutta. She is a Visiting Professor of the Department of Statistics, University of California, Davis, USA, since 1998. Dr. Roychowdhury has publiished a number research papers in renowned national and international journals and authored a number of books in statistics, probability and statistical inference. She is the recipient of Gold centered medal for standing first among the female candidates in the Secondary Examination of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
