Start Them Off Right! answers questions such as: what kinds of schools are out there? What are the pros and cons of private, corporate-sponsored, religious, non-profit, and other schools? How does a good preschool work? How-to coverage includes the search, including school visits, questions to ask, spotting a quality curriculum; making your choice and paying for it; how involved should you be?, and appendices of major organizations in early childhood education, government agencies, and advocacy groups.
