Indrani Talukdar, a writer/editor/journalist, has worked extensively in India and Australia. Apart from working as music and art critic for The Pioneer and Financial Express in the 90s, she also won the Rotary Exchange Fellowship (to Argentina) and the Greater Dandenong Short Story Writing Competition (Melbourne 2003). Her debut novel, When the Lamps were Lit was serialized as an e-book by indianwoman.com. She has a Masters degree in Communication Studies from RMIT University (Melbourne). She is now working as Editor for IRMA at Anand in Gujarat.
