The Tragedy of Hamlet, shortened to Hamlet, is Shakespeare’s longest play and is ranked amongst the most powerful and influential tragedies in English literature. Dr. Sengupta did his research in Shaw s work, and recently was the lone academician to represent the Indian sub-continent in the International Shaw Conference, South Florida, USA (2004) and International Shaw Conference, London, UK (2013). He has published many articles on Shaw s work in various University level journals.
