Giovanni Ghione is Full Professor in Electronics at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has authored or co-authored several books, including Semiconductor Devices for High-Speed Optoelectronics (Cambridge, 2009), and is the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices.
