An MTech in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai, P. S. Satish is a corporate trainer, mentor, and consultant for manufacturing industries and engineering institutions. He has been associated with manufacturing industries for more than three decades and close to a decade with educational institutes. For five years, as an adjunct professor in Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, he has guided many students in their master’s degree in engineering. He headed the global sourcing division of the company, Robert Bosch, for close to 10 years, visited over 25+ countries and had the opportunity to interact with hundreds of companies globally and in India. He worked in various functions in the companies, before taking a decision to leave the corporate world more than a decade ago to pursue his passion in training, mentoring, and writing. Currently, he enjoys running a service company in the name of Saraswati Industrial Services (SIS) in Bengaluru. He believes strongly from his observations that companies suffer more from human challenges than the challenges posed by the market dynamics and all challenges whether at professional or personal level, can be addressed by self-development. He enjoys developing people and industries and with this, he has expanded the acronym of his company SIS as Sharing and Shaping of Individuals, Industries, and Institutions. He is on the editorial advisory board of an industrial magazine, Machine Maker, and has published more than 75 articles related to improvement of thinking, function, and people in manufacturing industries. With deep passion for training, speaking, and writing, he regularly visits colleges and industries to guide students, employees, entrepreneurs, and businessmen to realize their full potential. He enthusiastically mentors budding entrepreneurs & people aspiring to grow and loves to see them grow. As a trainer, he has developed and delivered 50+ training modules covering various aspects of manufacturing industries. He has published books Knowing Is Not Same as Doing, The Great Entrepreneur Blueprint – 52 Dimensions and Sanjeevana (In kannada Language). He is engaged in a few social activities.
