This book is structured keeping in view the objective of the course “Engineering Chemistry” for GBTU, Lucknow and is intended as a textbook for first-year students of all engineering disciplines. It aims to impart students an in-depth knowledge of various aspects of chemistry as applied to engineering. It deals with basic principles of various branches of chemistry that is physical, organic and analytical and extends the application of concepts to polymer, fuel and material chemistry.
