This edition of the book was driven by the desire to make it more student-friendly and comprehensive resource material. The first objective was to add questions for brainstorming. Next was to incorporate more practice associated topics, whilst at the same time maintaining the preciseness and Conciseness of the book. Two new chapters have been added to this edition – contact lens care & maintenance, and Sports and contact lenses. In addition, few more topics have been added within the existing chapters, to make the book more informative.
