Self Help Personal Development

AN OPEN-ENDED EXPLORATION OF LIFE’S BIGGEST QUESTIONS THROUGH THE LENS OF HONEST SELF-REFLECTION. For millennia, religious and philosophical thinkers have attempted to answer humanity’s trickiest conundrums: Who am I? What is my purpose? Why do I exist? Does anything matter? Is life an illusion? What happens after death? There are no easy answers. All we can do is live the one life we’ve been given wisely, and with kindness. But how? In I Think, Therefore I Ask, philosopher and writer Mukunda Rao argues that the path begins with honest and intelligent introspection. Why do you think the way you do? What shaped your views on existence, death, love, politics? This thoughtful and practical guide invites you to question your assumptions—about yourself, others and the world—and, in doing so, move towards a wiser, more accepting and more peaceful way of being. At its heart, this is a book about reflective thinking and the power it has to alter your life.

Mukunda Rao

Mukunda Rao is the author of six books of fiction, two plays—one each on Gandhiji and Baba Saheb Ambedkar, which were staged in different parts of Karnataka and much appreciated—and six insightful philosophical works, among which The Buddha, Sky-Clad, Belief and Beyond and The Biology of Enlightenment are much-read work and have become cult books amongst spiritual aspirants. After his retirement in 2010 from teaching service in a college, he lives with his wife on a farm outside Bengaluru. He can be contacted at mukunda53@gmail.com
