Jwala was part of Academy when I launched him in 1995, just before Ajit Agarkar and Yuvraj Singh. He was an extremely talented player. I am happy to see him growing. He has given opportunities to many cricketers, especially in Mumbai. Also, he adopted and groomed Yashasvi Jaiswal and kept him at his house which is a very big thing. It is because of him that Yashasvi is playing at this level. I hope he does this kind of work for many to come. - Dilip Vengsarkar Jwala Singh is my old friend, and I have seen his journey. I am very happy to see him growing. He is doing a great job as a coach and mentor to the boys. -Wasim Jaffer I have known Jwala Singh for a long time. His passion for the game is very high. That's why he has groomed the players for the Indian National Team, and many more are growing under him which is truly remarkable. -Chaminda Vaas Jwala Singh is giving chance to many young players to achieve their dreams. I am very happy that I am associated with him and can contribute to the young players to fulfill their dreams. - Rangana Herath I really appreciate Jwala Singh for giving platform to many players who are really needy. -Romesh Kaluwitharana

Jwala Singh

Jwala Singh Jwala Singh is a distinguished cricket coach whose journey reflects resilience and passion for the game. He came from Gorakhpur to Mumbai at the age of 13 to become a cricketer. He was coached by Dronacharya awardee Ramakant Acharekar. Later, he was trained at Dilip Vengsarkar's and Sandeep Patil's academies. He represented some junior state teams and many premier clubs and corporates in India and overseas. A promising cricketer in his youth, Jwala's playing career was cut short by an injury very early in his career. He tried to bounce back as a cricketer but it was hard for a boy who had nothing-just a dream and hard working ability-without resources. Undeterred by this huge setback, he reinvented himself as a coach at an early age. He went on to mentor some of India's brightest talents, including international star Prithvi Shaw and Yashaswi Jaiswal. He spotted Yashasvi Jaiswal from Azad Maidan and took him to his home. He treated him as his own son, coached him and now Yashasvi is one of the best batmen in the world of test cricket. He is widely acclaimed as a global cricket coach. He could not represent India as a cricketer but he has produced more than 20,000 cricketers so far. Today, Jwala's story is seen an example of when you have desire you find the way. As the founder of the Mumbai Cricket Club and the Jwala Sports Foundation, Singh has dedicated more than two decades to training and guiding young cricketers. Beyond his academies, Singh has organized and promoted competitive platforms like Mitsui Shoji T-20 league with the support of Mr Lal Bharwaney offering budding players invaluable match exposure. Some top players like Shivam Dube and Shasank Singh are the discoveries of these tournaments. Former players like Dilip Vengsarkar, Chaminda Vaas, Wasim Jaffer and Rangana Herath also support this league. Singh's contribution to the development of cricket at the grassroots level continues to inspire thousands of aspiring cricketers across the country.
