This manual describes laboratory experiments in hydraulics and hydraulic machines. The experiments are classified into two categories--Flow side experiments (1 - 11) and Machine side experiments (12 - 17). The manual is developed specifically for the undergraduate students of civil engineering and mechanical engineering. Each experiment is laboratory-tested and includes the theory, procedure, apparatus, precautions, possible errors, observations and results with a view to reinforcing the student's practical experience. KEY FEATURES Record sheets comprising tabular columns and specimen calculations are provided so that the students can enter the values directly on them and compute the results. Students can obtain the graphical solutions by plotting the required curves on the graph sheets provided in the book. The companion CD contains an Excel file for each experiment.
