Carlo Collodi
Carlo Lorenzini, better known by the pen name Carlo Collodi was an Italian author, humourist, and journalist, widely known for his fairy tale novel. Collodi is most celebrated for his creation of the character Pinocchio, who became a cultural icon through the serialized novel "The Adventures of Pinocchio" (1883). Collodi's storytelling blended whimsy with moral lessons, and his use of the Tuscan dialect added a distinctive charm to the narrative. Beyond "Pinocchio," Collodi wrote numerous other works, including novels, short stories, and translations. However, it is his creation of Pinocchio that has secured his place in literary history and made him a beloved figure worldwide.
