Maulana Abul Kalam Azad

Maulana Azad was an Indian political leader, scholar and was the newly independent India’s first Minister of Education. He is credited for laying the foundation of the Indian educational system and enhancing it and credited for establishing the IITs.He was posthumously awarded with the Bharat Ratna in 1992.
