The need for a directory providing basic information on South Asian institutions working in the field of international relations has been felt for quite some time past. This directory seeks to fill this gap. It covers institutions in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and provides information relating inter alia to the year of creation of the institutions, their research orientation, area of expertise, regional scope, activities, publications and members except in some case where despite follow up, such detailed information could not be gathered from the concerned institutions. A useful tool for researchers and layman alike.
