New Awareness Social Studies is a series of five textbooks for students of classes 1-5. The series provides an interdisciplinary understanding of society and its functioning, keeping the 21st Century learners in mind. It creates awareness about the world around us - social, political, geographical and economic. The series fulfils the requirements of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023.
