Start With Art is a series of 8 parts in all. It is a series with a different approach, which is convenient for all. The material provided in the books is activity based. Parts A, B and C are meant for pre-primary classes and parts 1 to 5 are meant for primary classes. Activities are well-graded according to the age of the children for each class. Different activities like paper collage, thumb impression, vegetable impression, paper folding. Rangoli, card making, pasting mirror, glitters, pulses, pencil shaving, buds, etc. are included. The objective of the series is to make the process of learning art an enjoyable experience. How to go about an activity has been explained step wise in each part. A few blank pages have been given in each book to do or draw something out of their own imagination.
