Also will also open new avenues to conduct various research and development activities and will provide an opportunities to researchers and scholars to work out various aspects of these to explore the potential of these flower crops in future.

B. P. Nautiyal

Prof. B.P. Nautiyal obtained M.Sc., Ph.D. (Botany) from H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar, Garhwal. He worked on various medicinal and aromatic plants and his work got wide appreciation. He has worked as an Associate Professor in Mizoram Central University in the Department of Horticulture, Aromatic and Medicinal Plant. He has published more than 120 research papers in international and national journal of repute and articles. Beside he is co-author and co-editor of a book on agro techniques of high altitude medicinal and aromatic plants and also a book on horticulture which comprises chapters on various aspects of various horticulture crops. To his credit, 12 students are awarded Ph.D. Degree under his supervision. Presently he is working as Dean, College of Horticulture, VCSG, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar. Prof. Nautiyal is a member of academic bodies of several universities and institutions.

Dr. Mamta Bohra

Dr. Mamta Bohra did her M.Sc. Horticulture (Floriculture and Landscaping) in 2011 and Ph.D. Horticulture (Floriculture and Landscaping) in 2015 from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. She has qualified ARS NET in Horticulture (2012) and ARS NET in Floriculture and Landscaping (2013). She joined College of Horticulture, Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry, Bharsar, Pauri garhwal as Assistant Professor in 2014. She is young scientist of creative mind and has multidisciplinary interest in various disciplines of Horticulture including Floriculture, Lands capping, fruits and Vegetable Science.
