Served in the Indian Army for 20 years during which actively participated in Indian Peace Keeping Force, Operation – Vijay ( Kargil War), Operation – Parakram and many more missions.
Awarded Kargil medal, Operation Vijay Star, Siachen Glacier High Altitude Medal, Sainya Seva Medal with Clasp Assam, Bengal and J&K, Long Service & Good Conduct Medals.
Part of the flood relief team who saved more than 20 precious life during West Bengal floods of 1987. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Mr. Rajiv Gandhi visited Malda & New Jalpaiguri and surrounding areas and interacted with local people & our Army team.
Part of the Earthquake relief team who saved more than 15 families at Lingzya village at Gangtok ( Sikkim) on 18 September 1991.
Worked with his Excellency former President of India, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam & DRDO team during Pokhran-II Nuclear test and provided telecom network at Pokhran desert. Then Prime Minister of India, Mr. A B Vajpayee & Defence Minister George Fernandes visited the site and congratulated our team.
Part of Project team who installed Satellite links (VSAT) at high altitude areas of India, Pakistan & China border at – 40 degree Celsius temperature after Kargil War including World’s Highest Satellite Link.
Had the honour of working as LO to then Defence Minister of India, Sri. George Fernandes during his multiple Kargil & Leh Visits.
