The book consists of five sections: Exercises, Sample Question Papers, Conjugation of Verbs, Verbs of Motion and Russian-English Vocabulary. The exercises have been prepared keeping in mind the needs of the students of Certificate and Diploma courses and also the requirements of the Russian language courses at school level up to class XII. Accordingly, the book covers most of the topics of grammar which are included in the syllabi of these courses. Besides exercises on various aspects of grammar the book also gives some revision exercises in which the grammatical topics already covered are revised through mixed exercises. After the exercises on grammar there is a separate section in which sample question papers on grammar have been given which will help the students to prepare for the tests and examinations. Grammatical exercises and sample question papers are followed by the section on the conjugation of verbs which requires special attention in learning Russian. The next section is devoted to the verbs of motion. In this section the verbs of motion without prefixes and with prefixes have been listed separately for the benefit of students. These features of the book will be of immense help to the learners of Russian language. At the end there is a Russian-English Vocabulary which includes all the words that have occurred in the exercises and sample question papers of this book. This book can be used as an additional teaching material side by side with any standard text-book of Russian.
