The World Around Us is a thoughtfully-designed series for the grades 1–5, aimed at helping students explore society within their local environment and beyond. The fourth edition of this series aims to instil skills, values and dispositions that support the vision of the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023 and the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The revised edition is meticulously designed around five key learning pillars: Multidisciplinary Learning, Value-based Learning, Empirical Learning, Conceptual and Competency-based Learning and Rootedness in India.
