The purpose of revising this book on world history is to provide additional information to some chapters and cover political developments during the past decade. These developments have bearing on the lives of many millions of people around the world – especially people living in war-torn countries like Palestine and Ukraine. There are also people who are living in the middle east countries who are equally concerned about the effects of war. There are people who are very much concerned about the disastrous effects of Climate Change. The pandemic Covid-19 from 2020 to 2023 has also caused maximum anxiety for those people who have come out of it and then there are no signs of nuclear threats receding in some parts of the world.
